About

I live in Sheffield with my wife and work for Enhance Web Ltd, based in Bournemouth. I attended Bournemouth university and recieved my Bsc hons in Computing in 2007. As part of my degree I was required to spend 40 weeks in industry. My placement was also DSM-Design, in Poole. I especially enjoyed my 3rd and 4th year's at university as I found these the most challenging. During my 3rd year I was exposed to commercial development during my placement and had to adapt quickly to the demands placed upon me. My final year provided far more depth on my chosen modules and continuously motivated me to find out more about the subjects, this is especially true for Computer Graphics Techniques and Internet Application Development. The modules I chose for my final year were, Computer Graphics Techniques, Advanced Databases, Internet Application Development and Advanced Network Systems. My final year project was a real time Ajax massively multiplayer game.

I have created this site as an online portfolio for my creative works. The majority of which are photopgrahy, design and web development. I continuously strive to improve my abilities some of my long term creative goals include computer game production, digital matte painting and space art.

During my first year at University I was introduced to Photoshop by a friend and have been slowly developing my abilities over the last 4 years. I realised early on how important photography is for design work. This encouraged me to buy a camera so I could take more control over my work and reduce my dependence on stock photos. In Summer 2006 I purchased a Nikon D50 and created the photography section of my website.

I have been programming since I was 13. In this time my experience has covered C, C++, C#, PHP, Perl, Java, SQL, XHTML, CSS , JavaScript, Visual Basic QBasic. Other development experience includes MySQL, SQL Server, XML, XLST. I specalise in ASP.Net web solutions.

In my free time I enjoy music, movies, reading, science fiction, computer games, programming, digital art and design, and photography.
